BELIEFS Annual Report 2023–24

BELIEFS (Better Livelihood and Education Through Fundamental Studies) continued its grassroots work with tribal and rural communities during 2023–24, building on its experiences from the initial year.
BeliefsIndia Foundation is a separate legal entity created to support and expand community-led development initiatives. The knowledge resources and reports available here represent the work, learning and institutional journey of BELIEFS.
The Annual Report 2023–24 highlights the strengthening of BELIEFS’ programs across tribal regions of Nashik district, with a special focus on women’s empowerment, leadership development, health, livelihoods and traditional agriculture.
During the year, BELIEFS implemented initiatives such as the Grassroots Leadership Development Programme, Anemia Free Village initiative, Nagali and Varai seed production programme, and livelihood interventions through MGNREGA.
he report captures the experiences of communities, women leaders, farmers and field teams working together towards sustainable and inclusive development.
